Welcome to our page dedicated to supporting Bali’s stray dogs.

Have you ever seen stray animals while traveling and felt a deep sadness in your heart, but thought that being so far from home, the most you could do was buy them a little food and move on, feeling helpless? We felt the same way until February 2024, when, during a vacation in Bali, we encountered a dog so severely injured that ignoring it was no longer an option. That moment changed everything. We decided to act—to at least find local medical help. And that’s how our story began.

During the final week of that same trip, we managed to rescue the injured dog along with her four 6-week-old puppies, and we also found another 2-month-old puppy abandoned in a trash bin. We found new forever homes in Bali for the four puppies, and brought the mother dog and the puppy we found in the trash to Estonia. After this experience, it didn’t take long to understand the situation in Bali. Through our interactions with local rescuers and clinics, we realized just how difficult their circumstances are. Resources are scarce, yet they care for dozens of dogs in their own homes, doing everything they can to treat and sterilize street dogs, often just one or two at a time.

We firmly believe that help exists in the world. Our mission is to find that help and deliver it to those in need. While we aim to provide local dogs with food and necessary medical care, our primary focus is on sterilization and neutering.

Why is sterilization and neutering important?

Sterilization and neutering are crucial because they help control the stray animal population, preventing countless unwanted litters and reducing the number of animals suffering on the streets. By preventing overpopulation, we can also reduce the spread of diseases, improve the overall health of the animal community, and ensure that more dogs can receive the care and attention they need.

How can you help?

We hope to continue our work with your support. You can contribute in the following ways:

  • Donations: Financial contributions are crucial. Every donation goes directly to helping the animals.
  • Spread the word: Share our page and mission with your friends and family.
  • Volunteer work: If you’re in Bali, your time and skills can make a significant difference. Please get in touch with us.

Together, we can create a better future for Bali's street animals. Thank you for your support and compassion!
