Lucky's Rescue
Lucky's Rescue is a non-profit animal rescue run by locals and international volunteers, saving stray dogs in Bali, Indonesia. Every donation goes straight to the dogs' care. Currently 16 dogs in our Bali shelter. 100% of all donations go directly to the dogs.

In 2024, a young Estonian couple on holiday in Bali came across a dog so severely injured on a road that ignoring her was no longer an option. They rescued her, named her Fate, and that single act of courage became the founding story of Lucky's Rescue. Fate now lives with them in Estonia.
Lucky's Rescue is registered as LUCKY'S RESCUE MTU - an Estonian non-profit association. The rescue opened its own shelter in Bali in January 2026 and currently cares for 16 dogs with the help of local and international volunteers.

Age: 8 months. Rescued from the streets of Bali, Hope has blossomed into a playful, affectionate dog who loves human companionship. She is ready for a forever home and will fill it with endless joy. Traits: young, playful, affectionate.
The sole survivor of four siblings. While we fought to save them all, only Flake made it. Today she carries the spirit of her siblings - strong, gentle, and full of life. She deserves a home where she will be cherished as the miracle she truly is. Traits: survivor, gentle, strong.
Rescued as a tiny puppy alongside Cika and Tiger. Sadly Tiger did not make it. Peanut carries on - a sweet, gentle soul who has overcome tremendous loss. Traits: gentle, sweet, resilient.
One of the gentlest dogs we have ever met. Came from the streets scared and uncertain, now a calm and trusting companion who radiates warmth. Traits: gentle, calm, loving.
A mother-daughter pair with an unbreakable bond. They play, sleep, and comfort each other through everything. We dream of finding them a home together. Traits: bonded pair, loving, playful.
Arrived needing care, and blossomed into a beautiful, confident dog. Hazel loves people, is eager to please, and would make a wonderful loyal companion. Traits: sweet, confident, loyal.
Three puppies rescued from a flooded rice field during a massive storm. A fourth puppy was never found. These three survived, are now vaccinated, and are waiting for forever homes. Traits: siblings, playful, rescued from flood.
A free spirit who chose the rescue on her own terms - she kept coming closer each day until she joined the family. Clever and adventurous, she climbs fences and goes exploring, but always comes back home. She walks without a leash by choice. Traits: independent, adventurous, clever.
Found as a tiny terrified 2-month-old puppy frozen with fear at every touch. Through endless patience and gentleness, Fierce now actively seeks affection and has blossomed into a loving, spirited young dog. Traits: brave, spirited, transformed.
Hit by a vehicle and fully paralyzed in her lower body. Diagnosed simultaneously with parvovirus. Vets gave her 50/50 odds even with expensive spinal surgery. Hera refused to give up. Through acupuncture and physiotherapy she made a full recovery and can walk again. One of the most inspiring dogs we have ever met. Traits: miracle, resilient, gentle.
Three puppies found unvaccinated who contracted parvovirus, distemper, and mycoplasma simultaneously. For months they moved between hospitals. All three survived. Shy has permanent neurological damage from distemper but lives a full and happy life. Traits: warriors, resilient, bonded.
The dog who started it all. Found severely injured on a Bali road in 2024 - her rescue was the founding moment of Lucky's Rescue. Now lives happily with the founders in Estonia. Traits: brave, resilient, origin story.
Found abandoned in a trash bin at just a few months old. Now lives in Estonia alongside Fate. Lucky is the namesake and heart of Lucky's Rescue. Traits: playful, loving, namesake.
All four of Fate's puppies found loving forever homes right here in Bali. They represent the hope and new life that comes from rescue. Traits: adopted, family.
