## About

Lucky's Rescue (registered as LUCKY'S RESCUE MTÜ, an Estonian non-profit) is a private animal rescue project run by locals and international volunteers dedicated to saving stray dogs in Bali, Indonesia. It was founded by a young Estonian couple in 2024 after a single act of compassion on a Bali road changed their lives forever.

The organization opened its own shelter in Bali in January 2026 and currently cares for 16 dogs. 100% of all donations go directly to the dogs  - covering food, veterinary care, surgery, medication, and rehabilitation.

## Mission

- Rescue stray and injured dogs from the streets of Bali
- Provide full veterinary care (including emergency surgery and disease treatment)
- Rehabilitate traumatized dogs and prepare them for adoption
- Find loving forever homes locally in Bali or internationally
- Educate and raise awareness about animal welfare in Bali

### Currently Available for Adoption

**Hope** (8 months old)  - Rescued from the streets of Bali. Playful, affectionate, full of energy and love for humans. Ready for a forever home.

**Flake**  - The sole survivor of four siblings. A fighter from day one  - strong, gentle, and deserving of a cherished home.

**Peanut**  - Rescued as a tiny puppy alongside Cika and Tiger. After losing Tiger, Peanut carries on. Sweet, gentle, and resilient.

**Neo**  - One of the gentlest dogs rescued. Came from the streets scared and uncertain, transformed into a calm and trusting companion.

**Honey & Cita**  - A mother-daughter bonded pair. Inseparable. Looking for a home together where their bond can continue to flourish.

**Hazel**  - Arrived needing care, blossomed into a confident, loyal, and sweet-natured dog. Loves people and eager to please.

**Bella, Coco & Luna**  - Three puppies rescued from a flooded rice field during a storm. Vaccinated and growing up surrounded by love.

**Friend**  - An independent free spirit who chose to join the rescue family on her own terms. Clever, adventurous, walks without a leash by choice.

**Fierce**  - Found as a tiny 2-month-old puppy terrified of humans. Through patience and love, she now actively seeks affection.

**Hera**  - Hit by a vehicle and paralyzed. Diagnosed with parvovirus. Against all odds  - through acupuncture, physiotherapy, and sheer will  - she made a full recovery and can walk again.

**Nousy, Shy & Riven**  - Three puppies who survived parvovirus, distemper, and mycoplasma. True warriors. Shy has permanent neurological damage from distemper but lives a full and happy life.

### Successfully Adopted

**Fate**  - The dog who started it all. Found severely injured on a Bali road in 2024, her rescue was the founding moment of Lucky's Rescue. Now lives in Estonia.

**Lucky**  - Found abandoned in a trash bin as a puppy. Now lives in Estonia alongside Fate. The namesake of the rescue.

**Fate's Puppies**  - All four of Fate's puppies found loving forever homes in Bali.
